The Faberge Big Egg Hunt in New York

We have been incredibly fortunate to take part in one of the biggest fundraising events on the planet – the Faberge Big Egg Hunt, which this year took place in New York

Our sponsorship of the event meant we had an Anaiza egg on display which was designed by legendary artist Rachel Lee Hovnanian.

What a privilege it was to see pictures of Rachel at work designing our egg, and then the egg being hidden in Central Park ready for the hunters to find.

The Big egg Hunt is a creative charity initiative from Faberge in collaboration with the Elephant Family, founded by Mark Shand, and Studio in a School, founded by Agnes Gund.

Over 300 giant egg sculptures, each designed by the world’s best designers, architects and brands like Ralph Lauren, Tracey Emin, Zaha Hadid, were hidden across the city.

New Yorkers are encouraged to participate in the Egg Hunt with the help of a magical fairy tale.

The eggs will culminate in a grand auction held by Sotheby’s and I had more than 50 bids for our egg which was fantastic.
